Budget Award
The Howard-Suamico School District has received the Meritorious Budget Award for its 2012-13 budget from the Association of School Business Officials International for the 15th consecutive year. 19 schools nationwide have earned this award for 15 years or more and HSSD is the only one in Wisconsin.
The award recognizes high standards in the preparation and presentation of school-system budgets and is only conferred to school systems who have met or exceeded the program criteria.
No other organization or award program is specifically designed to enhance school budgeting and honor a school system for a job well done.
