Branching out into the community to provide basic needs and resources to families in need with children in the Howard-Suamico School District.
The Giving Tree will provide resources for students in the Howard-Suamico School District to enable them to participate in educational opportunities and school events.  These efforts will give our students the confidence to excel into enthusiastic learners, and ultimately, become productive citizens of our community.

Giving Tree Holiday Store

AMAZING - together we helped 156 families including 384 children this holiday season!!!  The outpouring of donations was phenomenal.  Every volunteer and family who walked into the Holiday Store was overwhelmed by the amount of donations.

Thank you for donating gifts, for donating your time to volunteer at the store, and for continuing to support our students.

The Giving Tree Board’s goal is to empower families and help instill a sense of pride and dignity into their lives.  Together with all of you we accomplished that!

Over the holiday break, please think of the students and families you helped...the smiling and excited kids, the proud and thankful moms and dads.

Thank you for your continued support of The Giving Tree and doing what is best for our students and their families.

The Giving Tree Continues to Branch Out!!

The Giving Tree and Green Bay Community Church continue to partner and will offer a holiday assistance program that instills pride and dignity in the families we serve!  Families will again be able to shop at The Giving Tree Holiday Store for their own gifts at costs that are affordable.  The money collected from families will be donated back to The Giving Tree to continue to fulfill its mission.

Based on research and community feedback, we found parents would rather work and pay for the toys and gifts that would bring joy to their kids during the holidays, much more so than standing in the free toy/gift line with their proof of poverty.  Look for more details to come.

Thank you for your support of The Giving Tree and doing what is best for our students and their families.  Your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated!
